Everything in this course has been pretty straightforward up until this point. I am just terribly unfamiliar with the console. I can't get it to work. I am an absolute beginner, so when I look up the answer in the forums (or google) I am overwhelmed with terminology I have never heard. You can assume that anything I know about programming has been learned on this site. My question: is there a course here (or another site) that focuses on very basic things a programmer should know? For instance: port, terminal application, Linux, cloud IDE..these are just a few things I've heard tossed around in explanations that go over my head.

Yes there is! Console foundations might be just what you are looking for. In fact, all of the Development Tools courses might be a good thing to look at it

Awesome. I think these are what I'm looking for!
