Genymotion

I just did the Genymotion course, I loved it. My only problem is that I was not able to see the drastic improvement in speed and responsiveness from the default emulator. As far as I can tell, they're about the same.

There only is one exception: the emulator for Galaxy S2 - 2.3.7 - API 10. This one is really fast, like in the course videos.

Is there something I can do on my side to improve the performance of Genymotion?

If one of the Genymotion virtual devices you downloaded is running "fast" then I wouldn't try to "improve" the performance of Genymotion. Genymotion isn't perfect, and it does have hiccups. I would personally try to install more virtual devices to see which ones run fast for you. If you have any problems/slow downs, then I would report them to Genymotion.
