25,647 PointsHang on in there is the best advice I can give! learning to program is a challenging endeavour, so don't be hard on yourself if you feel lost, it happens to us all :). Like anything else it gets easier with time and practice. Never be afraid to ask for help either. Coding is about collaboration as much as anything else. Best of luck with your learning :)

11,064 PointsJS can suck and took me way longer to learn than anything else and I still have trouble with it. Go through the videos/lessons/courses again. As you're going through them, get a notepad and write down the functions, the syntax, the whatever and what they do, how they work. Take notes, like you would with anything else. Whatever you struggle with, look up on other websites to get more understand, take notes from those pages too. Make a demo page, that you can always go to and add what you just learned in an organic way onto that page, outside of following along to the lesson. The only things that will really help like with any coding is repetition and taking notes.
