getElementsByCLassName() not effecting

const myList=document.getElementsByTagName('li'); for(let i=0;i<=myList.length;i++) { myList[i].style.color='red'; } const myList1=document.getElementsByClassName('not-red'); for(let i=0;i<myList1.length;i++) { myList1[i].style.color='blue'; }

Did you set the list items class to not-red in index.html?

     <li class="not-red">amethyst</li>
