getter and setter video

question on getter and setter method, when you do a class, does everything in that class needs to be variables? on the video getter and setter at around 3:36 amit changed all constants to var. I'll appreciate all the answer. Thanks

Hello, to give you a quick answer no, they donโ€™t have to be var, they can be constants. He changed it because somewhere along the way, he needed to change the value of it, and since you canโ€™t change the values of a constant once declared โ€œunless you go to it and change it manuallyโ€, he made them variables.
