getter and setter video

question on getter and setter method, when you do a class, does everything in that class needs to be variables? on the video getter and setter at around 3:36 amit changed all constants to var. I'll appreciate all the answer. Thanks

Hello, to give you a quick answer no, they don’t have to be var, they can be constants. He changed it because somewhere along the way, he needed to change the value of it, and since you can’t change the values of a constant once declared “unless you go to it and change it manually”, he made them variables.
