Getting a Fatal Error instead of page not found

After doing everything in the video described and a lot of googling i managed to make it work when i type /hello/alex but when i am trying to access the root directory instead of getting a page not found i am getting a Fatal Error :

Fatal error: Uncaught Slim\Exception\HttpNotFoundException: Not found.

Anyone knows why this is happening? Also i had to install psr 7 through composer as well after installing the slim framework
