Getting close to intermediate. Will I learn MySQLl in PHP intermediate course? It is just SQL. What is the difference?

Hi,

I generally see PHP courses outside treehouse like PHP with MySQL united. However, I could not see the MySQL training in intermediate course or in any track at all. It is written just SQL in PHP intermediate track. What is the difference? Isn't that necessary to learn?

Thanks

I recommend you do go through the SQL database courses.

Most SQL syntax is the same across variations and where there are differences there are helpful links for you to look at and note down :)

My purpose is to learn PHP as much as I can, then finish all web design track at the same time, then Full Stack JavaScript. After completed all of them or at the same time ,I haven't decided yet, I will finish all wordpress courses. However, we should learn MySQL for wordpress I guess. Isn't that so?

Isn't there MySQL database training in "Wordpress Development" section? For the wordpress it is a must. Isn't it?

Let's say that I finished SQL in PHP course but I also should learn MySQL in this case. How many more hours should I spend for MySQL after finished Intermediate PHP course and learned SQL and/or PHP?

Sorry for asking these questions but planing here is essential. Focusing on what is necessary is what I am after. That is why I did not start the wordpress directly. I want to learn the platforms. I thought it would be more logical to learn the fundamentals.

Thanks
