Getting Error in console with this code. Why?

function printQuote () { var theQuote = getRandomQuote(); var html = '<p class="quote">' + theQuote.quote +'</p>' + '<p class="source">' + theQuote.author + '<span class="citation">' + theQuote.citation + '</span>' +' <span class="year">' + theQuote.citation + '</span>' + '</p>'; document.getElementsByID("quote-box").innerHTML = html; }

When i try to run this code it says in the console:

script.js:65 Uncaught TypeError: document.getElementsByID is not a function at printQuote (script.js:65) at script.js:68

dont know what i am doing wrong? Anyone that understans it?

My function is:

function getRandomQuote () { var Quote = Math.floor(Math.random()* quotes.length); return quotes[Quote];

you spelled the method name wrong. it's get element, not elements.
