Getting extra credit for "Personal Profile Page" project

Hey guys!

I have asked the same question on the slack and still have no answers so I am hoping that you can help out! ;)

I have finally joined team tree house and have started to build my very first project. In the instructions to get the extra credit they mention that you must change the styling of the profile photo’s CSS properties. So the question is can I change CSS styling to any property I want (for example web page background color, hover effects, etc..) or I have to strictly stick to the instructions to change CSS for the profile photo only to get an "exceeds" rating?

Hi Martin, well I think for the profile image there is not much to modify, but you can add some other pages and social media links. If you want you check out my project for Unit 1. Just download the files upload them to workspaces and feel free to see. https://github.com/juangui097/Project-1---Personal-profile-page

Hey Thank you so much for your answer but I am still wondering if I can change stuff like background color, hover effects, text color, etc and still get extra credit?

yeah sure that will help, actually in the extra credits, it doesn't say much about those effects, but in my opinion if you can apply it, I am pretty sure it will help in your grade! Thanks!!
