getting the pictures to adjust in size

my pictures are not shrinking with the screen when you change the size. They are still the same size they were when I added them. How can i fix that?

Did you make sure to put percentages as their "height" and "width"?

E.g: 

            img {
              width: 100%;
              height: 25%;
            }
            ```
