public class TimeTravelActivity extends Activity {

  public String targetYear;

  private NetworkConnectionReceiver receiver = new NetworkConnectionReceiver();

  @Override

    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_time_travel);

    Intent intent = getIntent();
    targetYear = intent.getStringExtra("EXTRA_YEAR");
    EnergySource source = (EnergySource)intent.getParcelableExtra("EXTRA_ENERGY");

  }
  @Override
  protected void onResume(){
    IntentFilter intent = new IntentFilter("android.net.conn.CONNECTIVITY_CHANGE");
    registerReceiver(receiver, intent);

Hi Pankaj. It's just that you forgot to call the superclass (parent) methods, using the super keyword. Just add

super.onResume();
super.onPause();

at the top of their respective overridden method and you'll be good to go.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks Lauren for the response. I looked at my code got the issue and corrected it earlier.

You're welcome :) Glad you sorted it out yourself
