Getting 'This Webpage Is Not Available.' After following this video

Hi! I am trying to set my locally hosted wordpress site live to a domain that was live in the past, but now only displays a blank page that says 'This Webpage Is Not Available.'

I followed the steps in the video exactly, and ensured my WP-Config file was updated accordingly.

Also, I've uploaded all the files via FileZilla to my public_html folder.

Yet still for some reason, I'm getting this blank page. I can still, however, access my locally hosted site.

What am I missing here? Thanks!

You say it's a local hosted wordpress installation. But you also state that you upload the files via FileZilla FTP client?

Just the be clear, is your server stored locally on you computer or rented at an online host you pay for?

Hey Marcus, My site is hosted locally, but I thought I took the necessary steps to make it live. I used HostGator for my hosting, and the Cpanel.

In the file manager of my host gator Cpanel, I can see all the files that I've uploaded using FileZilla, however when I go to my live site's url, it displays a page that says 'This Webpage Is Not Available'

I hope this helps!

Have you created a database on the server host?

Hi Shane, Yes I created a database, along with a username and password. This is the information that I entered into the WP-Config file as well. Everything looks to be normal.

What is the link to the live site?
