getting website back on web?

I had a website up a while back, but I forgot to continue my hosting payment so now it doesn't work. I've now updated my payment but when I go to my domain it still doesn't work.

Do I have to wait a couple of hours, or is there a process I should be following to get my website working again.

I think that many (if not all) hosting provider will delete your files if you don't pay them in time. Contact your hosting provider will solve the problem the fastest way.
