getting xcode

Hi, I just started the Ios track. do I need to download xcode now or? when

You don't necessarily need Xcode right away. You will need it when you want to start compiling your own programs & apps. To get and use Xcode you will also need a Mac computer.

For now though, you should be okay just using the TreeHouse code challenges. I would advise getting Xcode when you start to build the first example project.

ok thanks. I have a macbook with a pretty good processor. Just didnt know when I should get xcode or if not having it will hinder me from grasping the lessons and doing the work?

If you can get it, the earlier the better in my opinion, gives you more time to get used to it!
