Git Basics Course console never finishes setting up my computer

Git Basics Course console never finishes setting up my computer. I am now on Windows 10 after upgrading from the buggy handicapped Windows 8.1 home edition. I can not follow along the lessons anymore as all my attempts to install Git-Flow locally failed!
