4,266 PointsGit on Windows using Sublime Text 3 Editor
Hi there,
In the video on installing Git on Windows it mentions having to use notepad as the text editor to open files through the Git Bash. Is there a way to use Sublime Text 3 instead? I've seen online where people suggested creating a .bash_profile file in Sublime and aliasing the subl command like this:
alias subl="/c/Program\ Files/Sublime\ Text\ 2/sublime_text.exe"
I tried this, changing /Sublime\ Text\ 2 to /Sublime\ Text\ 3 and saved the file in my $HOME folder but unfortunately it didn't work. Does anyone know another way? I'm on Windows 7.
Thanks for reading.
