Git Root Errors - Can't open Android442

A couple years ago I built an app with Ruby on Rails so I worked with Git. I'm getting root errors in the beginning process of working with Android Studio.

"Unregistered Vcs root detected The directory C:\Users\Blake is under Git, but is not registered in the Settings. Configure Ignore VCS root errors"

When trying to open emulator I get "PANIC: Could not open: Android442
