Give the paragraph a border that is 4px wide, solid and red. What am I missing?

styles.css didn't like the border-color red input

You need to use a colon instead of a period. You can also include all properties on a single line like this:

border: 4px solid red;

okay thanks! I am lost on what it's asking. set the border <p> elements to red
