Going back from Preview into workspaces doesn't work, OSX: Safari AND Chrome.

I work with two windows open, one for the course media and one for workspaces.

When I open preview in workspaces in Chrome it opens in another tab in the course media window. How can I get it to open in the Workspaces window?

When I do the same in Safari the workspaces page loads into preview but as there is no toolbar you cant move back into Workspaces.

Anyone got a fix for both browsers?

Without one this website is unusable to me.
