Going further with Web Design

Here's a question I've been meaning to ask for a while.

We have some great web design content on Treehouse. I think we're in good stead for content that can make static websites or apps beautiful.

But there's still a lot of websites out there that I look at and think "I wish I could do that". A lot of that is because I don't have the time or confidence to go out there and try it for myself. Whether that's because I'm not giving myself enough experience or whether it's the other end of the spectrum and I'm giving myself too much to do I'm not sure.

What I'm thinking most about here something like Parallax Scrolling for changing the content or appearance of a sticky footer based on Scrolling. You'd need jQuery or JS to help with that I'm sure.

I thought it might be a good opportunity for us to post some tips or resources that might help take our designs to the next level? :)
