Going through the java track and I am almost done. Should I learn the java unit testing before hopping to android?

I am a php developer with a few years of experience. I want to learn android and IOS so I am going through the java course right now. Would it pay to learn unit testing before hopping to the android course. Or once I am done with java course what else would you guys recommend I take before doing android.

You won't absolutely need it before jumping to the Android courses. But you should take the course at some point.
