2,463 PointsGradle project refresh failed. Android Studio 0.8.6 for Mac
I keep getting the "Error:Cause: org.slf4j.spi.LocationAwareLogger.log(Lorg/slf4j/Marker;Ljava/lang/String;ILjava/lang/String;[Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V "
and "Gradle project refresh failed".
Many have had this issue before. I looked into stack overflow and other forums and all suggested to remove the gradle file and have android studio look for it online. So I have tried to remove gradle, .gradle, gradlew, gradlew.bat files, changing the build.gradle from 0.12.2 to 0.12.+ but nothing works and the problem persists.
How shall I proceed?

37,259 PointsSince it's not the newest version of Android Studio anyway I'd be tempted to manually download the latest version of Android Studio and overwrite/install over your current app. If that doesn't work then delete the application altogether then install. I had to do something like that on my back between Android Studio versions when I had similar problems (gradle related too I think).

2,463 PointsHey! I tried to get Android Studio 0.8.9 for MAC and run it but still got the same error. Are there any obvious prerequisites for Mac to have Android Studio running? I am very new to this so any help would be much appreciated. THanks!
