3,825 PointsGreat post on things to consider when starting a web project
So Chris put up another great post today over at css-tricks.com. He lists out a lot of important considerations when starting a large scale (applicable to small scale too) web project. For each of the topics (hosting, optimization, CMS, version control) he links out to other resources and articles. It's a good thoughtful read especially if you haven't worked on a large project.

2,297 PointsThanks for posting! I'm starting on a web project, for the first time in - sadly- a decade. Finally going to apply CSS3 and HTML5, and hopefully apply Accessibility from the start. And allow for mobile...
On a future note, the soon to be released Treehouse's Exercise Your Creative #10 covers the workflow for creating visual assets for a site from scratch. Earlier EYC episodes deal with asset creation, from conception to implementation. Good stuff if you don't know where to begin.
Best, Anthony
