Grid not working

I have been following along typing code and all has gone well until CSS and applying the grids. Everything seems to stay left justified at the gutter, no matter what text I change.

<!DOCTYPE HTML> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="html/text; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Smells Like Bakin' Cupcake Company</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css" type="text/css" media="screen"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/grid.css" type="text/css" media="screen"> </head> <body> <div class="container clearfix"> <div class="grid_4"> <img src="img/logo.gif" alt="Smells Like Bakin" </div> <div class="grid_8 omega"> <ul class="nav"> <li><a href="#">About</a></li> <li><a href="#">Cupcakes & Prices</a></li> <li><a href="#">Locations</a></li> <li class="last"><a href="#">Contact Us</a></li> </ul> </div> <div id="intro" class="grid_9"> <h1>Opposites really do attract, especially in our kitchen! Solved! Found two missing closures on img lines, amazing how much havoc the little things can cause! . All is well!

Hi Wesley,

Could you please provide some of your code examples? Are you having trouble with the code challenge or in working with this code on your own?

I am having trouble with code of my own, the challenges are going good so far. here is a copy of the code, I'm pulling my hair out!

Hi Wesley,

I'm not 100% certain since it doesn't look like you've provided your full HTML, but check out the first minute of the Working with Grids video. Most likely your HTML is not linked to your grid.css file.
