I think it would be cool if there was a way for treehouse members to get together and work on group projects. Just to give the experience of working with other people and maybe even help create larger portfolios. What do you guys think. If there is already something like that I would love to know! :)

It would give you a real experience with working on different subjects, like :
Someone designs something, other one codes it, then you do SEO... so many ideas!

5,020 PointsI think that's a great idea. I'm really surprised there's no concept of "friends" on Treehouse. I convinced a buddy of mine to join but there's no real way for us to interact on the site. We occasionally meet up and work through projects together so it would be nice to be able to get updates on his progress and be able to comment on his work and vice versa.

12,216 PointsThis has come up once or twice. One guy just had people who were interested in collaborating email him. I was thinking something like a Discourse setup or a trusty old phpBB setup on a server somewhere where project ideas could be discussed. From there it would be left to the teams to figure out how they want to communicate. Skype, GitHub, whatever. Just one possible solution.
