Hey guys,
I have a question that has been bugging me for quite some time.
I would like to start with the basics of creating a simple mobile app which allows me to switch on my torchlight. How do I actually get the torch to shine when a button is pressed on my iPhone.
I'm thinking that a connection such as bluetooth will be required. But how do I build the hardware? I definitely need to make a custom torch with bluetooth capabilities, do I need a circuit board? How exactly do I start?

It's because I would like to know exactly how it works so I can move on to greater things such as inventing a new hardware!
