Has anyone ever used lynda.com?

I was wondering if their were better sites for like programming? like for java, python, C++, and etc

I did a few years back. It was "OK". Nothing special about it.

Yeah Lynda isn't anything special, if you're looking for Python resources Udacity has some great stuff.

I used it not so long ago, I don't rate it as a teaching tool. You have to pay extra to get course files too, but i didn't think much of the tutorials.

They have a free trial so you've nothing to lose if you try it for yourself. if you sign up for the free trial pick the best option so you get the course files.

Lynda's courses vary greatly as they are all done by independent authors. That being said, there's some design related content to Lynda that I haven't found anywhere else. In short, I think Lynda is totally worth the price.

The thing is options are sort of limited when it comes to training videos for actual languages. IMO, Lynda.com is really the best option for languages like Java and C++ which you're going to be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Yes and I like Team Treehouse better because: lessons are shorter, quizzes are more frequent, and Mike. :)
