Courses Plus Student 38,465 PointsHas anyone played around with the Modernizr script in their website building?
Just curious if anyone has included the modernizr script in their websites. Do you guys use it to make sure the script makes your website compatible with other browsers or do you use it as a custom feature script? Just curious...

Courses Plus Student 16,968 PointsIt was much more popular a while back, these days I don't think quite as many people include it, but it's still good for feature detection when you need it. Some people have just started building for modern browsers only and as a result don't rely as much on something like Modernizr, but for those who need to know feature support as part of writing code, or have to ensure that their site works on older browsers, it can be invaluable.
I would typically use it for progressive enhancement, giving a base experience in situations in which a feature was not supported, and then a more enhanced version when I knew it was.
