having hard time adding value of array to "sum"

feel like I've tried everything and its probably so simple.

while.swift 
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < 7 {
  print(numbers)
  counter++
}

while sum < 7 {
  print(numbers)
  sum += newValue
}

You're not accessing the astray correct. Do you need indexes?

i have to use counter as the index. and add sum to the new value
