15,912 PointsHaving trouble passing the last challenge question in 'Getting Started with Sass'. Please help.
The question isβ¦"We want to add an exception for <a tags that are in the <div with a class of footer: those links should be purple. Use a post selector ampersand to achieve this.
The code I put is
/* Write your SCSS code below. */
p{
a{
color:red;
}
> a{
color:blue;
&:hover{
opacity:0.5;
}
}
.footer &{
color:purple;
}
}
What am I doing wrong?

21,326 PointsI think that the challenge wants you to specify the div element along with the footer class. I think the first time I ran through this challenge I did the same thing.
/* Write your SCSS code below. */
p{
a{
color: red;
}
> a {
color: blue;
&:hover {
opacity: 0.5;
}
div.footer & {
color: purple;
}
}
}

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 31,420 PointsThank you. That solved it. Technically, we don't have to do that, right? Selecting ".footer" will select the same thing as "div.footer," right?
