Whats up? wondering why the launched workspace remains static and un- editable

Kanayo, If you just clicked on launch workspace, the first screen that comes up is the "welcome.md" file. this is just a info file and is not editable. To begin working either click on File->new file to create a new file or choose index.html from the list of files on the left. hope that helps.
