hello I don't understand how to code this

Using the console's printf method, display a message that says, "First name: ", followed by the first name that the user has entered

IO.java 
// I have imported java.io.Console for you.  It is a variable called console.
String firstName=console.readLine("what is your name?");
String lastName=console.readLine("what is your name?");
String firstName=console.readLine("what is your name?");

Hi Esraa,

Your code is fine but the output string isn't what the challenge is expecting. It is expecting to see First name:, then the contents of the firstName variable. If you remove the second assignment to firstName (you only need to do that on the first line - you have done it on the third line too; just delete that) and amend your output string to be exactly what the challenge is asking for, your code will pass.
