Don't give up, John!

Web design & development is a steep learning curve. That's the beauty of it! It is a skill mastered by few and coveted by many. Many others, like myself, feel a little overwhelmed at times. What I find that helps is to step back and look at how far you have progressed. Everyone goes through those ups and downs, from feeling like a genius to wanting to throw your keyboard out the window. Seems the more you start to understand about web, the more you become aware of how much there really is to learn! My advice is to take a step back and work on some small projects and use the knowledge you have gained up to this point. It can be anything: responsive logos, custom navigation, layout ideas, typography. Use your imagination and get inspired! It also helps to try and understand that you can't learn everything in one day. Think of web design & development as trying to eating an elephant... it's easier to do it one bite at a time.

Thank Stuart made me feel a lot better :-)

Glad I could help!
