Help getting design apple will accept

I am very new..I've done the beginner app and thats it. I need to do an app for my church members. All it really needs is a link to our giving site, directions, basic information such times , addresees, contacts. Apple says my current app looks like a web site and cannot be an app. I'm about to redesign it. What suggestions dos anyone have to help me include IOS features and not "Look" like a website?

Hi Glenn Brown, Have you had a look at the 'mobile app design for iOS' course on here (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/mobile-app-design-for-ios) Sarah Parmenter shows you how to design apps for iOS 7.
