This is my code so far.
from django.core.urlresolvers import reverse
from django.http import HttpResponseRedirect
from django.shortcuts import render
from . import forms
def product_form(request):
form = forms.DigitalProductForm()
return render(request, 'products/product_form.html', {'form': form})
if request.method == 'POST':
form = form(request.POST, instance=Digital)
if form.is_valid():
form.save()
return HttpResponseRedirect(product.create.get_absolute_url())

- move the original
return
statement to the end of the file. Otherwise, it will return immediately and never reach the POST code - inside post code, get the form using
form = forms.DigitalProductForm(request.POST)
- change the inner redirect to use
reverse
on "products:create"
Post back if you have more questions! Good luck!!
