Help! jQuery Challenge Question - Stumped

Within the anonymous function passed to the "each" method call, did you supply the argument "'<input type="checkbox"/>'" to the "prepend" method call on the jQuery object with an argument of "this"?

    <h2>My Favorite Things</h2>

    <ul class="favorite-things">

    <script src="app.js"></script>

/*your logic is correct, some syntax issues only, you have got*/

$('.favorite-things li').each(function() {
  $(this).prepend('(${<input type="checkbox"/>})'); /*can you take off the (${ and the ending })*/

/*you cannot just mention that this is a jquery object, within the quotes, it will have to be outside*?
/*this occasion, you would not need it, as you are mentioning already in the start like $(this)*/
