Help me. "head" on my text doesn't work. Why?

So I'm on the beggining of the course and I followed exactly what the instructions show but when I check my code it does not show the head text on my page. Why is that? Please someone help me, I can't continue the exercices because this part doesn't work. My code is identical of the video and yet it only shows me the text of of the body and not the text of the head.

Unfortunally I tried to paste my code here to show how it's laid out and it doesn't show and I can't attach the doc... Can anyone help me?

to show your code you need to indent it four spaces(or one tab) and also make two line breaks before and after your block of code

you can also show your code using code pen

Awesome!!! I had no idea about the space. I wonder why isn't that said in the video.

Thank you Elliot!

Agree, "I had no idea about the space. I wonder why isn't that said in the video."

Im a newbie. I thought I was going to have to go ahead and buy my web server but code pen looks great.

Thanks Ellioit

the text in the head will not show in the window.

<head><title>This is a title that is visible on the tab of the browser, but not the page itself</title> </head>
<body>This text will show in the window</body>

which means there is something wrong with your code itself. You can indent your code 4 spaces to format it as code when you post it as a forum comment.

Thanks a lot Stone Preston, I followed your suggestion and it works! :)
