Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype String Equality

help me see my mistake

here is what i had to do---Add an if statement that checks to see if firstExample is equal to secondExample. If it is, print out "first is equal to second".

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (noun.equals("hello")) {console.printf("first is equal to second");}

There are fey mistakes actually and are mostly syntax errors. Change the line 5 to:

If(firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
System.out.println("First is equal to second");

PS : You can also use the == operatir rather than the .equals() method.

Thanks for help :)
