i just dont know how to show only the three first letters

You could use the string.slice method on each string in the array.

abbreviatedDays = daysOfWeek.map(day => day.slice(0, 3)); 

or

abbreviatedDays = daysOfWeek.map(day => {
 return day.slice(0, 3); 
});
