help please

what am I missing or doing wrong? is it the last part that I'm getting wrong?

racecar.py 
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        fuel_remaining = length * 0.125
        laps = laps + 1
        return self.fuel_remaning

You're close, but I see a few issues:

  • when referring to internal variables of the class, prefix their names with "self.".
  • the "fuel_remaining" should be reduced by the calculation and not assigned with it
  • the method does not need to "return" anything
