Help please!!

these nesting is confusing. please show me the code and explain the block of code if you dont mind.

Not 100% sure what you are asking but I've put comments in your sass trying to explain whats happening. Hope this helps.

//this targets all p's
p {
  //this targets ALL a tags within the p tags. Compiles to p a { color: red;} in css
  a {
    color: red;
  }
  //this targets any a's that are direct descendants of the p, e.g. NOT the a tags wrapped in the spans
  //this would compile to p > a { color: blue;} in css
  > a {
    color: blue;
   //the ampersand acts as a quick way of writing the parent, so this would compile p > a:hover {...}
