I try and go to phpmyadmin and this shows up I don't know what i did wrong
MySQL said: Documentation
2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured).

Also most webhosting companies have build in Wordpress installer. Let me know if this helps.

24,757 Points...I don't know. I'll take a look at the tutorial I have always installed it on a server. I have never tried to do it locally.

26,671 PointsI got this error too. If your on windows go to Xampp and click start MySQL then it should work.
