HELP! Signing Up New Users Part 1 Code Challenge

Hey guys,

So I'm stuck on Task 2 of the Signing Up New Users Part 1 code challenge.

So the task is asking:

"Now switch to the implementation file. In the 'makeGuess' method, store the text value from 'numberField' in the variable named 'userNumber'."

And here is my implementation...

#import "NumberGuesserViewController.h"
#import "GuessEngine.h"
#import "UIAlertView.h"

@implementation NumberGuesserViewController

- (IBAction)makeGuess:(id)sender {
    NSString *userNumber;

        NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text; // === MY ANSWER ===

    // Check to see if the user's number is correct
    BOOL isCorrect = [GuessEngine testGuess:userNumber];

}

@end

If anyone could provide some advice on how I can get this to work correctly that would be great!

Thanks

Stu :)

Yes I am a dummy, I have figured out my wrong doing.

I wasn't declaring my code in the correct spot...

#import "NumberGuesserViewController.h"
#import "GuessEngine.h"
#import "UIAlertView.h"

@implementation NumberGuesserViewController

- (IBAction)makeGuess:(id)sender {
    NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text; // it was meant to be here, duh!

        // NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text; "Answer wasn't meant to be here!"

    // Check to see if the user's number is correct
    BOOL isCorrect = [GuessEngine testGuess:userNumber];

}

@end
