iOS Swift 2.0 Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops For In Loops

help thanks!

I don't know how to append the results to the variable results

loops.swift
// Enter your code below
var results: [Int] = []
for multiplier in 1...10 {
  print("\(multiplier) time 6 is equal to \(multiplier * 6)")
}
results: "multiplier"

Try assigning the result of the operation in a constant, then add your result to array with the append method:

var results: [Int] = []
for multiplier in 1...10 {
    let operation = multiplier * 6
    results.append(operation)
    print("\(multiplier) time 6 is equal to \(operation)")
}
print(results)

Hi Yeshaya,

There's no need to print out the outcome of the multiplication; you just want to store that in the array. You can use the append method for that:

var results: [Int] = []
for multiplier in 1...10 {
    results.append(multiplier * 6)
}

I hope that helps,

Steve.
