Help to get a job.

I there, currently I'm unemployed and I do not think I can find job as iOS developer only knowing swift. But I won't switch to objective-c until I feel 100% confidant in swift, so I decided become web developer because I love working with CSS and Html. Lately I've been offered a job as a freelance. The guy who hires me(or want to) is a professional web developer who needs an associate to help him to convert psd to html (due to lack of time he can not do it all by himself). I've passed a lot tutorials here at tree house but need a practice. So I keep evolving by converting some psd to html watching videos on youtube.

long story short he asked me to create more or less of the same of this website http://leobyme.0fees.us just to see what are know. and after that he will give a few tasks most likely and if I pass, I get the job(hope so). What I need from you guys just go to that web page and give me some advice what technique should I use. for example when you go to website you will see a video playing on a background, I think I need to use JavaScript Plagins, is there any ideas? also I don't know how to implement that: when you choose particularly part on the webpage the navigations are changing correspondingly. That's all I guess, other things I think I can handle, such a sticky navigation and so on. appreciation in advance.
