Help! Web Design or App Dev?

So I am new to tree house and have just started the web design track. My main goal to is to get into to android app development. Would it be wise to jump right into the android app track or start w/ the basics of web design before I move on? Any experienced devs out there with some helpful advice?

I'm more interested in iOS development than Android, and I juggle web design and app development (there's no reason you couldn't learn both, except for time and energy), but if Android development is your real goal, it may be better to dive right into that. There's an increasing amount of overlap between mobile app development and web development, but the web design track is more suited to someone interested in front-end design.
