iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Foundation Framework NSDictionary

Help with Challenge Task

Declare an NSDictionary variable named 'album'. Assign the following key/pairs to it: "title" - "Abbey Road", "artist" - "The Beatles".

What I tried...

NSDictionary *album = [[NSDictionary alloc] initWithObjectsAndKeys: @"title", @"Abbey Road", @"title, @"artist", @"The Beatles", @"artist", nil];

correct code and explanation please!

also tried this way of using NSDictionary

NSDictionary *album = @{@"title":@"Abbey Road", @"artist":@"The Beatles", nil};

If someone would be cool enough to explain what I did wrong on both versions of using NSDictionary I would appreciate it greatly.

Remove the "nil" Your code should look like this:

NSDictionary *album = @{@"title":@"Abbey Road", @"artist":@"The Beatles"};
