Hello.

Several issues. Corrected below.

  1. missed a semi colon
  2. "}" and "else" on two separate lines
  3. had a random "("
  4. had a random "."

I formatted your code a bit too.

//missed a semi-colon
var answer= prompt('what is the best programming language?');

if(answer.toUpperCase()==="JAVASCRIPT"){
    //had an extra (
    //had a random period
    alert("You are correct");

//had your else and } on two separate lines
} else {
    alert("JavaScript is the best language!");

}

Oh, you had a space between your "alert" and your "(" but I dont know if that would have caused an error. I removed it.

fond the error thank you
