index.php
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Alena Holligan", "email" => "alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Dave McFarland", "email" => "dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Treasure Porth", "email" => "treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Andrew Chalkley", "email" => "andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com"];

//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<ul>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0] ["name"] . " " . $contacts[0] ["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1] ["name"] . " " . $contacts[1] ["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2] ["name"] . " " . $contacts[2] ["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3] ["name"] . " " . $contacts[3] ["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";
?>

Almost-

Each of the list items should have a colon : in the middle surrounded by spaces. Currently you just have a single space.

Also, I think it will squawk because of the space you have between each of the contact array keys. I'm kind of surprised that outputs the way it does but it should be:

<?php
$contacts[0]["name"]

Hello ,

1st the issue was the space between the outer and inner indexes. normally it works with the space. 2nd **the colon between name and email.

<?php
//edit this array
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Alena Holligan", "email" => "alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Dave McFarland", "email" => "dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Treasure Porth", "email" => "treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com"];
$contacts[] = ["name" => "Andrew Chalkley", "email" => "andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com"];

//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<ul>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[0]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[1]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[2]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[3]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";
