Help with position:absolute

Can someone here let me know a bit more clearly about the position:absolute property? It was not quite clear to me from the video tutorial. An illustrated example would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Aquib, absolute positioning is removed from the document flow. In other words, it displays and is not affected by other elements. Here's another resource for you.

And here's the Treehouse video once again in case you want to review it.

There's a good explanation here with a few examples as well https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/position
